Scientist Use Quranic Terminologies to Describe the Structure of the Universe

Woven

On July 8, 2023, SciTechDaily published an article that commenced with the term “WOVEN” to describe the structure of galaxies observed a mere 830 million years following the inception of the universe

“Woven across our universe is a weblike structure of galaxies called the cosmic web. Galaxies are strung along filaments in this vast web.”

In a Quranic verse where Allah invites us to ponder upon His signs, a description of the Samaa or the Heaven was given, expressed to be seemingly Woven, repleted with pathways and fabricated with stars.

Al Samaa, in Tafsir Al Tabari was depicted as woven but in a special way; that is, it is woven like sand when disturbed by wind, woven like an armored shield, woven like water when disturbed by wind and like sheep wool, and that the Samaa is woven with stars, fabricated in layers.

In an era marked by notable technological advancements, with supercomputers conducting simulations and space telescopes peering deep into the past, scientists have reached the conclusion that the universe exhibits a woven structure.

It is truly astonishing to witness how scientists in this era employ descriptive terminologies to portray the original structure of the universe, which exactly match the terminologies revealed in the Quran over 1400 years ago.
