Translation of Sorat Ya-Sin Ayat 38 – Miracles of the Quran
The Almighty said [36:38] “And the sun runs to a resting place for it“
Meaning that the sun after running, will seize to move and rest in a pre-designated place!
[36:40] “It is not fit and proper for the sun to overtake the moon nor the nighttime one to take the lead over the daytime. They each swim in an orbit.”
We know that the moon orbits the earth and that is how we observe the lunar cycle phenomenon, but what does the sun orbit? And where is it destined to rest?
It has become a scientific fact that the sun and the stars that we see at night are part of 200-400 billion stars that form our galaxy – the milky way, and this is what it looks like in a dark night with no city lights.
But galaxies in general and ours in particular look like a whirlpool, our galaxy spins counter-clockwise and our sun is located halfway between the core and the edge of the galaxy and rotates around the galactic center once every 250 million years, and accelerate as it gets closer and closer to the center.
In January 2009, NASA released a composite infrared image of the never-seen-before core of the milky way and encompasses 2000 images taken by the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes in infrared, the core of the galaxy appears as a cloud at the lower right area of the image
.
For some time, scientists have hinted that galaxies in general and ours in particular contain a supermasive black hole that is almost zero size, although it will be impossible to see the black hole itself, we can see its effect at the “Event Horizon” as stars orbit the black hole at such a high speed that the stars themselves are torn apart and become like clouds that eventually rest in the core of the galaxy.
Eventually, after millions or maybe billions of years, the stars of the milky way including our sun will face the same fait and will settle in the core of the galaxy.
And this is the interpretation of the Ayat [36:38] “And the sun runs to a resting place for it”

, assalamoalaikum brother it is very good article . you know brother when i see these type of article i feel that we all muslims are very close to each other . i from india here all muslim are sorounded by kafirs . so there is no scope for us specially for women to have good weather to become a fresh muslim .all time microphones are screaming with ugly type of song. i have only a wish that i want to spend my whole life in arab or any muslim country/. i am very hopeful about it that insaallah one day my prayer will be granted insaallah. also all of you pray for me. jajakallah khayer khuda haf

islam should not be judge by seeing muslim who themself donot know what ALLAHdemands from them.everyhuman should read quran and try and understand.it.itis a book of creator and if anyone who wants peace in their life they should read quran

I m very happy to read this article. It is very informative,logical and describe in an easy and interesting way which can be understood both by a layman and a scientific scholar. Unfortunately we Muslims have gone too far from reading and understanding Quran, that we have become aliens in this beautiful planet. We displeased Allah ALmighty by deviating from His message and have resorted to all sort of bad deeds wh ich are strictly forbidden by Allah and His messanger Muhammad PBUH.
I will urge upon the Muslims to revert to the Quran and also invite all the non-believers to rise from prejudice and stereo-type notions about Islam. Read Quran and see and feel yourself that it is for the guidance of entire humanity, and not meant for the Muslims only. Whoever believes that Quran is the revealed book of Allah will one day embrases Islam by the Grace of Allah Almighty and all the fears of loosing lavish and lustful life will vanish like anything. You will experience the most soothing life that couldn’t be imagined before. Please don’t judge Islam by Muslims. Most of the Muslims have deviated light years away from the real Islam. If a Muslim wish to rediscover Islam, he/she should have to read and understand Quran and life of prophet Muhammad, and same should be the case for every non-believer. Islam welcomes everyone and doesn’t believe in superiority of humans on the basis of race, creed, language. It judges the mankind on the basis of good deeds. I am not a scholar and wish to ask for your pardon if I have said anything offensive . May Allah have His mercy on all the humanity and other living things. Aameen.

{ سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي ٱلآفَاقِ وَفِيۤ أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ } قصلت 41
حدثني يونس، قال: أخبرنا ابن وهب، قال: قال ابن زيد، في قوله: { سَنُرِيهِمْ آياتِنا فِي الآفاقِ وفِي أنْفُسِهِمْ } قال: آفاق السموات: نجومها وشمسها وقمرها اللاتي يجرين، وآيات في أنفسهم أيضاً.
وقوله: { حتى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أنَّهُ الحَقُّ } يقول جلّ ثناؤه: أري هؤلاء المشركين وقائعنا بأطرافهم وبهم حتى يعلموا حقيقة ما أنزلنا إلى محمد، وأوحينا إليه من الوعد له بأنا مظهرو ما بعثناه به من الدين على الأديان كلها، ولو كره المشركون.
